Compatibility

• Kernel RPM naming scheme changed: rpm name is now 'kernel', and 'release' field includes 'ovz' prefix.

• Please note that if you use yum and have openvz-kernel-devel repository enabled, there will be no automatic upgrade to this new kernel. This will be fixed during next kernel releases.

RPMS

You need only one kernel RPM so please choose the appropriate one depending on your hardware:

• If your x86 (i686, IA32) machine has more than 4 GB of RAM, choose kernel-enterprise RPM.
• If your x86 (i686, IA32) or x86_64 (AMD64, EM64T) machine has more than one CPU (or a CPU with hyperthreading), choose kernel-smp RPM.
• Otherwise, use the plain kernel RPM (i.e. kernel).

SPARC
