An OpenVZ kernel is the central part of OpenVZ. We maintain a few branches, based on different kernels. Below you'll find a link to all of them. For installation info, check quick installation.
If you are not sure which kernel to download, use RHEL5 (on any distro).

Stable
These are stable, supported branches which we take care of.
- RHEL4
- Based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 kernel (2.6.9 based). Super stable.
- Latest version is 023stab054.1.
- RHEL5
- Based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 kernel (2.6.18 based). Stable.
- Latest version is 028stab122.4.
Testing
These kernels are candidates to stable. They are totally untested and might contain major bugs. Not for production systems!
- RHEL5 testing
- Based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 kernel (2.6.18 based). Testing.
- Latest version is 028stab120.1.
Development
These are development, bleeding edge branches. Use at your own risk.
- RHEL6
- Based on RHEL6 2.6.32.
- Latest version is 042stab145.3.
- 2.6.32
- Based on vanilla 2.6.32.
- Latest version is 2.6.32-feoktistov.1.
- 2.6.27
- Based on vanilla 2.6.27.
- Latest version is 2.6.27-repin.1.
Old stuff
These branches are not developed/supported anymore. They are here mostly for the historical reasons. Do not use.
