Warning: This kernel branch is currently frozen.
Essentially that means it is neither maintained nor supported, could contain security vulnerabilities and other bugs, and generally should not be used. Please check the list of supported kernel branches at Download/kernel page. |
Warning: this is an old version of RHEL4 kernel. For the latest version, see Download/kernel/rhel4/023stab054.1. |

RPMS[edit]
You need only one kernel RPM so please choose the appropriate one depending on your hardware:
- If your x86 (i686, IA32) machine has more than 4 GB of RAM, choose
ovzkernel-entnosplit
orovzkernel-enterprise
kernel. - If there is more than one CPU available (or a CPU with hyperthreading), use the
ovzkernel-smp
RPM. - Otherwise, use the plain kernel RPM (
ovzkernel
).
For more info, see Kernel flavors.
