OpenVZ supports live migration, so the container is not stopped, network connections are not broken etc. Just specify --online argument to vzmigrate. You can also do a traditional "offline" or "cold" migration, in this way container will be stopped on the source node and then started on the destination node -- this is what vzmigrate does by default. --Kir 16:15, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
