An OpenVZ kernel is the central part of OpenVZ. We maintain a few branches, based on different kernels. Below you'll find a link to all of them. For installation info, check quick installation.

If you are not sure which kernel to download, use RHEL5 (on any distro).

Stable

These are stable, supported branches which we take care of.

RHEL4
Based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 kernel (2.6.9 based). Super stable.
Latest version is 023stab054.1.
RHEL5
Based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 kernel (2.6.18 based). Stable.
Latest version is 028stab122.4.

Testing

These kernels are candidates to stable. They are totally untested and might contain major bugs. Not for production systems!

RHEL5 testing
Based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 kernel (2.6.18 based). Testing.
Latest version is 028stab120.1.

Development

These are development, bleeding edge branches. Use at your own risk.

RHEL6
Based on RHEL6 2.6.32.
Latest version is 042stab145.3.
2.6.32
Based on vanilla 2.6.32.
Latest version is 2.6.32-feoktistov.1.
2.6.27
Based on vanilla 2.6.27.
Latest version is 2.6.27-repin.1.

Old stuff

These branches are not developed/supported anymore. They are here mostly for the historical reasons. Do not use.
