Creating a new "Host Template Cache" for HostGIS Linux4.x or Slackware 11.x/12.x

This document describes how to use process uses VMWare to create install the OS into a new VM,install HostGIS Linux (HGL) on it and tweak then to trim down the system into shapeVM's contents to only those items suitable for a VPS/VE environment,and then create to save a Host Template Cache (snapshot of the system as a compressed VE image) host template cache foruse in OpenVZ.
