15–18 April, 2007 Gelato ICE San Jose, California, USA Gelato ICE: Itanium® Conference & Expo is the world's only conference dedicated to Linux® on the Intel® Itanium® processor. The event addresses current issues and collaborative solutions specific to the platform.

Kir Kolyshkin presented an overview of OpenVZ technology and how it relates to Itanium.

27–29 April, 2007 Linuxfest Northwest 2007 Bellingham, WA, USA A local event organised by a few LUGs.

OpenVZ was presented by John Blanford.

27–30 June, 2007 Linux Symposium 2007 Ottawa, ON, Canada The Linux Symposium is a technology conference, targeting software developers working on the Linux kernel, OS infrastructure, security, networking, and any related research projects. With attendees coming from over 30 different countries, the Symposium is the single most comprehensive collection of Linux experts.

Pavel Emelyanov presented a paper on OpenVZ resource management approach, i.e. beancounters.

10–14 July, 2007 Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre (Libre Software Meeting) Amiens, France General free software event, comprising of expo and a few sessions dedicated to different topics.

Kir Kolyshkin presented an overview of OpenVZ and took part in the virtualization round-table together with Kerlabs and IBM developers.
