OpenVZ is an umbrella for opensource Linux container technologies.

OpenVZ is free open source software, available under GNU GPL or compatible licenses.

OpenVZ uses GIT for source control and Atlassian Stash to keep source code. We use different workflows for userspace and kernel patches.

  • 100% Free Software (GPL), no royalties, no license fees!
  • Fast boot times (500 milliseconds to verified Linux kernel)
